English, Chinese or any other foreign language movies those dubbed into Telugu are being treated second grade by the locals and seldom find patronization. But this is the film that has got huge applause from various corners and getting the treatment of a straight movie. What’s the aspect that made this movie stand apart? There have been tales of determination and fighting against destiny through sheer will power. Something like this is said to be this movie based on the real life experience of Qingyao Lei. How impressive was it, let us see.
Story: Jihva (Qingyao) is a fun loving and a brilliant girl who is good in her studies and her father and mother happen to be from a poor family who earn their livelihood by making kites. Jihva’s mother’s dream is to see her daughter getting into the university and both husband and wife toil hard for it. However, an accident happens and Jihva loses both her hands, from there starts the challenges in her life and whether she is able to overcome them or not forms the rest of the story.
Performance: Qingyao Lei came up with an impressive performance and she has been supported well by the supporting cast as well. Yang Jing was good and gave her bit while Qina Ritu was graceful and fitted his role very well.
Music and Lyrics:Full credit goes to the music for coming up with touching tunes and the two songs sung by Chitra, Composed by Vandemataram Srinivas and written by Chandrabose have been in sync with the foreign language. This attempt was made to fill in the requirement of a Telugu film and to boost up the adrenaline and elevate the mood of audiences.
Technical Department:The dialogues have been quite simple and easy to understand, the script was written neatly and the screenplay was top notch. Cinematography was mesmerizing and there are some really eye catching shots taken. Editing was crisp but at times, it was a bit random. Locations were spellbinding and the pace of the film has been quite healthy. The director has come up with a good narrative and his presentation was also impressive.

Analysis: The film stands as a true inspiration to the viewers and the efforts the protagonist takes to achieve her goal is something that can be understood only by watching it on the screen.
Though we had movies like ‘Mayuri’ in the past, this one will appeal to the current generation audience since it deals with a swimming backdrop and the visual presentation has been quite enthralling. More than the presentation, it is the content that is actually worth talking since it goes to show how a human being can achieve few things purely through hard work, dedication and the will to achieve a goal.

The production values have been good and the dedication shown by the cast and crew is worth appreciating. Though this may not be the cup of tea for all genres of audience, it sure works as a motivating factor for all those who have lost hope in life or feel like losers. A different perspective can be formed towards those physically challenged after watching this movie and there is lot in this for them.
