Magadheera Movie Story:

During the year 1609 A.D - A warrior by name Kalabhairava lives in Udayghad Kingdom where he would be a soldiers trainer, Mitravinde - role is played by Kajal who will be a Yuva Rani of Kingdom. Kalabhirava (Ram Charan) acts as a bodyguard to Udaigadh's princess Mitravinda (Kajal) and also trains the king's soldiers. Mitravinda loves Kalabhairava. she falls in love with Kalabhairava, On the other hand, the king's nephews Billa (Dev Gil) wants to take over the kingdom and marry the princess. In a challenge, Billa gets defeated by Kalabhairava. Meanwhile, a Muslim emperor Sher Khan (Srihari) plans to take over the kingdom with the help of Billa. In an epic battle, Kalabhiarava saves the kingdom and also gets killed along with the princess. During a war all four of them die and again take birth after 400 years.
In the rebirth Harsh (Ramcharan) will be a bike racer making money with races, he falls into love with Indu who will be Kajal again in her rebirth and Raghuveer ( Dev Gil) is be again a heroine chaser. Interesting thing to watch as to how the movie patches up both the births is to be seen on big silver screens.

Magadheera Movie Performances:
Excellent performance presented by Ramcharan, according to sources, Charan has proved his mettle in this movie, as such all the appreciations must go to S S Rajamouli. Talents presented by Charan like horse riding, sword fighting, dances are highly impressive. The dance for the song Bangarau Kodipetta must be talked, stunning dance from Ramcharan. Its clearly seen that there is a real hard work behind this dance, infact role played by Charan requires lot of home works. On the whole Ram Charan - S S Rajamouli must thank each other for their contributions to the movie. Charan must be appreciated for his dialogue modulation from 1600 AD to the present generation dialogue delivery.
Kajal Agarwal- Has done her best to prove herself and she has done it with her beautiful presentation, infact selection of heroine credit must be given to S S Rajamouli.
Srihari : As usual he is known for his acting talents once again proved his mettle by playing powerful role of Share Khan. Another excellent performance from Srihari, most powerful dialogue delivery from Srihari.
Dev Gill though originated from Bollywood has got the edge of comfort level in this movie, Rao Ramesh played excellent role of Aghora Sadhu and Sunils comedy is just upto the mark.
The producer Allu Arvind, Director SS Rajamouli and other technicians such as music director, cinematographer and the people involved in graphic and #D effects must be appreciated for making such a great Telugu film.The film has high production values, the credit goes to the producer who dared to spend big money on the project.

Technical Performances:
This film needs special mention for its technical crew. Every technical member has excelled in one's own right. Rajamouli should be mentioned first for his vision, for his perfection, and for his directorial capablilites. He has now become the master of commercial movies. There is no other director in Telugu to understand the pulse of the so-called mass audiences. He once again proved that none can beat him in elevating the heroism, picturizing fantasy or period films. He always had a vision, no doubt, but this time, he executes with perfection.

Overall magadheera movie review: This is the movie that is advised for all Telugu people and movie lovers to watch as it is worth while watching movie ever made in Tollywood with Hollywood standards. The soul and strength of Magadheera lies in the 400-years-old episode that occupies about 45 minutes in the second half. This entire episode amazes the audiences. It is not to say that the rest of the scenes are not interesting but this episode is the life of the movie and etches in our mind long after leaving the theatre

Vengamamba Movie review

Story
Set on the backdrop of Tarigonda, a pious Brahmin family of Krishnaiah (sarath Babu) and Mangamamba (sudha) pray for children and their wish is granted in the form of a baby girl. They name her Vengamamba (meena) and right from her childhood, she is a devotee of Lord Venkateshwara. Unlike the regular activities of girls her age, Vengamamba is immersed into her own world of Balaji and his worries her parents. They get her married to Venkata Chalapathi but then she does not carry off her duties as a wife. Even the husband is supportive as he sees a goddess in her. The story takes a turn when Chalapathi dies and Vengamamba decides to take up writing poems and songs on lord Venkateshwara. She is supported by her in-laws and soon her journey takes her to Tirumala. How she handles hiccups that come her way and spread the word of love and devotion forms the essence.

Performances
Meena has come up with a stable and neat performance and she looked very good in the attire of the goddesses. Saikiran was a perfect choice and he showed good resilience in his act, Sana was stunningly perfect as the goddess. Sarath Babu was elegant, Subbaraya Sarma was matured, Sudha had her own share of tears, Ananth and Ashok Rao showed their talent in the negative shades. The others also performed neatly and contributed to the movie.
Technical aspects
The graphics were professional and were impressive. The dialogues were alright and the script was written smoothly, the screenplay was adept and did not have any confusions. Music was a major asset and songs were really nice and melodious. Cinematography was on standard and editing was crisp and smooth. Costumes and art department could have been better given the backdrop but overall, the technical elements were neat.

Director’s portrayal
The director has not come up with anything extra and though there were moments where the feel missed he has covered it with smooth handling of the script. The narrative was effective as there was no confusion in the scenes and everything went without any random sequences. It must be said that he has handled the screenplay in a good way and had a convicted approach towards the presentation.

Critic’s view
The film is a good insight into the life of Vengamamba and it has been given well to the audience without any complication. There were no extra attempts to make it look theatrical or overdramatic so that worked well for the movie. While the first half took off with a bit of hiccups it then stabilized and the journey went smoothly. The performances from artistes along with good technical values gave a good feel and though this is for a select share of audience, word of mouth is required and it has the material to become a moderate success.
Bottom Line:
Pleasant and divine, can be watched once

What’s it about!Shreya (Swathi) is an aspiring singer; her aim in life is to sing for A.R.Rehman. Meanwhile, she sings at a five star hotel for money. Everyday, a handsome guy watches her singing at the restaurant but doesn’t compliment her like other audiences. That bothers Shreya and she confronts him on this and soon a friendship develops between them. He encourages her to achieve her goal. One day, a music exponent (Vikram Gokhale) scolds her for singing without the basic knowledge of music that prompts her to take up tutelage under him. The reticent exponent doesn’t accept her first but later changes his heart after her repeated sincere attempts to learn. How does she reach her goal and what is the bond between this guru and shishya forms rest of the story.

Analysis
Kalavaramaye Madilo is about a girl’s dreams to become someone and her passion towards music. Like all the movies in this genre, Kalavaramaye Madilo treads similar pattern but looks like the director has heavy influence of K Vishwanath’s early classics like Shankara Bharanam and Sagara Sangamam. Most of the situations remind of those movies; hence you get feeling of déjà vu. However the film is neatly handled and executed despite many flaws in screenplay and clichéd moments. It starts off with Swathi’s narration - she introducing herself, her family, her dreams and her infatuation with this handsome guy. Soon after that the director forgets this first persona narration and ends it with like any other film. The film offers nothing new but the music is good on ears. First half is okay, but second half is big bore.
Performances
Colors Swathi looks cute but her expressions and diction is similar to what she had been doing on Television as anchor. It is acceptable to cash in on her image because youngsters like her peculiar style of voice and overt mushy expressions, but that cannot treated be as ‘acting’. Kamal Kamaraj suits to his role of well-educated, foreign returned guy. He does whatever that is required for. He showing off his six-pack body in middle of a song for no purpose is really silly. Marathi actor Vikram Gokhale gives effective and restrained performance, especially in the climax. S.P.Balu has lent voice to his character. Tanikella’s role reminds us of Allu Ramalingaiah’s in Shankara Bharanam or Sharat Babu’s Sagara Sangamam. Delhi Rajeshwari and Pragati are okay.

Music is best part of the movie. Newcomer Sharret Vasudevan has come out with some mellifluous numbers. “Toli Toli Ashalenno Reputunna Thillanna..” (seems Chitra sang this one with flaws purposefully to suit the situation) and “Kalavarmay Madilo..” songs are best from the this supposedly musical film.
Cinematography and other technical aspects are neat. As a director Satish Kasetty has improved from his amateurish taking of his first film Hope. But he seems to have heavy influence of K Vishwanath’s films.
Bottom-line!
Kalavaramaye Madilo doesn’t offer any refreshing theme, angle or situations. It treads on similar terrain of past musical films. Second half of flick reminds of films that came two decades ago. Except from music, it is b ig disappointment and very boring.
